First I should tell you that this is about a fictional book. The book is about tapes that a girl made and sent to the people mentioned in each one. They were expected to pass the tapes on to the person mentioned after them. The one we follow during this is Clay Jenson. The nice guy...
1. Justin Foley- A senior. Hannah's first kiss. A kiss. It was only a kiss, but rumors changed it and twisted it until it was much more than that to the kids at school. It began her reputation. Her completely false, reputation.
2. Alex Standell- Voted Hannah best but in freshman class. Voted Jessica Davis as her opposite. Gave others permission to act like there was only one important feature to her. Enstranged her from two of her aquantances. All to get back at Jessica for noticing when he was 'checking her out.'
3. Jessica Davis- Became Hannah's first friend along with Alex. They were the new kids. They needed each other. Someone to lean on. Someone to know in a new school. Then came the list. Jessica would never forgive her. Despite the fact she did nothing. But Jessica needed to blame her. Needed to believe that something happened between Hannah and Alex and thats why.
4. Tyler Down- The creep. The Peeping Tom. He took away the last safe place Hannah had. Her home. Her room. And he led the way for the perfect, beautiful, nice, fake Courtney Crimson.
5. Courtney Crimson- She's the one who introduced the fakery, the evil to Hannah. She's the one who started the rumors and made Hannah begin to realize that she was sick. "Sick of this town and everything in it."
6. Marcus Cooley- The goof-off. He was her one of her valentines in a new match-up program at school. After him Hannah first began to think of doing the terrible deed. It was at Rosie's. She went their waiting for her date to arrive. After fifteen minutes she ordered a shake. After half an hour she got ready to leave. Then he finally decided to show. Marcus invited her to a booth in the back and... they laughed, they had fun, until he rested his hand on her leg. She stopped and he moved it higher. She told him to stop and he moved faster. She pushed him out of the booth and he left. Noone came to help her.
7. Zach Dempsey...
I think this post is getting too long for fun reading. If you want to know the rest then read the book. Thirteen Reasons Why By: Jay Asher
Incase your wondering- Number nine is Clay and he is the outsider, the one who doesn't deserve to be on the list. But to complete the story she had to add him. She wanted him to hear it.
